Ostrich feathers around a warm LED, on a slim iron base. The feathers catch and scatter the light instead of blocking it, which gives a glow with texture in it rather than a flat shade.

Two densities, and the difference is visible: 30 feathers is airier and lets more light through, 40 feathers is fuller and softer. Four colours — white, pink, dark green and gray — with white the neutral choice and the rest deliberate accents.
