Common Questions

Which size do I need?

Measure your tabletop and add about 6 to 10 inches on each side for overhang. The 60 in round fits round tables up to about 44 in, 55 x 71 in fits a 4-seat table, 60 x 87 in fits a 6-seat table and 60 x 120 in fits a long 8 to 10-seat table.

Do I need to iron it?

No. The polyester weave holds its shape, so it goes straight on the table.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold with similar colors, do not bleach, hang dry.

Is it only for Thanksgiving?

The red plaid works from fall straight through Christmas, and all year in a farmhouse kitchen.

Do you ship to the US and how long does it take?

Yes, and shipping is free on every order with no minimum. Orders ship within 1 to 2 business days.

What if it arrives damaged or I change my mind?

You have 30 days. If anything arrives damaged we replace it. If it just isn't right for the room, send it back within 30 days for a refund.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
