Most path lights are a stake with a lens on top. This one is built as a small piece of landscape architecture: four posts framing a perforated centre, so in daylight it holds a shape on the lawn, and after dark the perforations throw pattern as well as light.

The body is die-cast aluminum with an acrylic lens — aluminum because a path light lives at ankle height where mowers, hoses and frost all get to it, and acrylic because it does not yellow the way cheaper covers do. Warm 3000K light diffuses through the lens rather than glaring out of it, so a run of them lights a walkway without turning it into a runway.

15.7 inches tall, hardwired, IP65. It suits garden walkways, courtyard paths and entrance runs, and it looks best in a repeated line at even spacing rather than dotted about singly.
