Description

A desk or nightstand lamp with a cord limits where it can sit, and most cordless lamps look like plain cylinders.

This modern table lamp is an open oval loop with a floating sphere inside, lit by LED. It runs on a 1500mAh rechargeable battery, so it can go on a nightstand, desk or side table without an outlet. Touch to turn it on, dim through 6 levels, and switch between warm 3000K and cool 6000K light.

Choose white, black, red, green or beech wood tone. It is 6.97 x 2.68 inches at the base and 13.9 inches tall, made of ABS.

Common Questions

Does it need an outlet?

No. It runs on a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable battery, so it can sit on a nightstand, desk or side table away from an outlet.

Can I dim it?

Yes. Touch control gives 6 brightness levels.

Is the light warm or cool?

Both. Switch between warm 3000K for evenings and cool 6000K for desk work.

How big is it?

13.9 inches tall on a 6.97 x 2.68 inch base, and it weighs 3.31 lb, so it sits steady on a nightstand or desk.

Which finish should I pick?

White and beech tone blend into light rooms. Black stands out on a light desk or shelf. Red and green add a color accent.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
