Common Questions

How long does the battery last?

About 3 hours from a full 6 hour charge. It can also run while plugged in over USB.

Does the head move?

Yes. The helmet rotates so you can aim the projection at the ceiling or a wall.

Is there a timer?

Yes, 45 or 90 minutes from the remote. It turns itself off after that.

How big is the projection?

Big enough to cover a bedroom ceiling from a nightstand. Closer to the wall gives a sharper, smaller field.

Do you ship to the US and how long does it take?

Yes, and shipping is free on every order with no minimum. Orders ship within 1 to 2 business days.

What if it arrives damaged or I change my mind?

You have 30 days. If anything arrives damaged we replace it. If it just isn't right for the room, send it back within 30 days for a refund.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.

How long will delivery take?

You will get a tracking code by email once it leaves. We ship within the United States only at this time.
