That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.

Even spacing matters more than sheer quantity. A pair either side of a door or gate is the usual starting point.

For a fence line, path or driveway, most runs look right at four to eight fixtures spaced evenly apart. Gaps that are too wide leave dark patches between pools of light, which reads worse than fewer fixtures spaced properly.
