Completely cordless. The USB-C rechargeable battery runs for months per charge in typical hallway or closet use.
Magnetic mount with adhesive backing installs in under a minute. No drilling, no wiring, no outlet needed.
Three lengths — 8", 12" and 16" — so the bar matches a shelf, a cabinet run, or a stair edge.

Common Questions

Does it need to be plugged in?

No. It runs on an internal rechargeable battery and charges by USB-C, so no outlet or wiring is required.

How long does a charge last?

In typical hallway or closet use it runs for months on a single charge. Heavier daily use will shorten that.

How do I install it?

Peel the backing off the magnetic mounting strip, press it to a clean dry surface, and snap the bar on. No drilling or tools needed.

Can I control it manually?

Yes. A button on the housing lets you switch it on or off and override the motion sensor.

How fast is shipping?

Shipping is free within the US and orders ship in 1-2 business days.

What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery in original condition.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
