Description

That big empty wall over the bed or the couch. You've thought about a print, but a print goes dark at night and looks flat the rest of the time.

This is a wall piece that glows. The LED strip runs along the back, so light washes onto the wall around the panels and the wave catches it. During the day it reads as modern art. At night it's the softest light in the room.

No electrician and no wiring. It plugs into a USB adapter, the same kind you charge your phone with.

✓ Warm white glow behind the panels
✓ Plugs into USB, no electrician
✓ Under 2 in deep, sits close to the wall
✓ 3 styles: silver, walnut and beige, or graphite
✓ 3 sizes, 31.5 to 59.1 in wide

Common Questions

Will I see a cord?

A thin USB cable runs from the panel to the outlet. If a dresser, nightstand or couch sits below, the cable drops behind it and disappears. On an open wall, a paintable cord cover from any hardware store hides it. Paint it the wall color and nobody notices.

Which size should I get?

31.5 in for above a nightstand, console or hallway wall. 47.2 in for above a queen bed or a loveseat. 59.1 in for above a king bed or a full sofa. A good rule is about two thirds the width of the furniture below it.

Does the front light up?

The light sits behind the panels and glows out onto the wall, so you see a halo around the shape, not a bare bulb. That's why it feels so easy on the eyes in a bedroom at night.

How bright is it?

It's mood light, the kind you leave on in the evening while you wind down. Keep your ceiling light for when you need to see everything.

What are styles A, B and C?

A is silver and gray panels with one wave. B is walnut and beige with one wave, the warmest look. C is graphite with two waves, the boldest. The photos show each one.

How fast does it ship?

Shipping is free in the USA with no minimum. Orders leave within 1 to 2 business days.

What if it doesn't look right on my wall?

Live with it for 30 days. If it's not right for the room, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
