Description

Every home has a spot that stays dark. The painting in the hallway, the corner shelf, the closet you dig through with your phone flashlight. Running a wire there means calling an electrician, and a lamp needs an outlet you don't have.

This light sticks to the wall or snaps onto anything steel. No wiring. Walk in and it turns on. Walk away and it turns itself off, so the battery isn't spent lighting an empty room.

The head turns a full 360 degrees, so you aim the beam exactly where you want it, on the frame, the shelf or the step.

✓ Turns on when you walk in, off when you leave
✓ No wiring, no outlet, no electrician
✓ Stick-on pad or magnet, no drilling
✓ Head turns 360 degrees to aim the light
✓ Warm, neutral or cool white
✓ Rechargeable by USB
✓ 30-day money-back guarantee

Common Questions

Do I need an electrician?

No. There are no wires and no outlet involved. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, so you put it up yourself in a couple of minutes.

How does it go up? I rent.

Use the included adhesive pad on a clean, smooth wall, or set it straight onto any steel surface with the built-in magnet. No drilling and no holes in your landlord's wall.

Does it turn on by itself?

Yes. The motion sensor switches it on when you walk up and off again once you leave. Nobody has to remember to turn it off.

Where do people put it?

Over a painting or print in the hallway, inside a closet, on a bookshelf or along the stairs. Because the head turns all the way around, the same light works on a wall, a shelf or a ceiling.

What's the difference between touch and remote?

Touch is controlled on the light itself. Remote adds a handheld remote, so you change the brightness and light color from across the room. Pick remote if the light will sit up high.

Will it look good over my art?

Set it to warm white for paintings and photos. It gives a soft glow, the way galleries light a frame. Use cool white inside a closet or over a work area.

How fast does it ship?

Shipping is free in the USA with no minimum. Orders leave within 1 to 2 business days.

What if I don't like it?

Try it for 30 days. If it's not right for your home, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
