Description

This bedroom ceiling light has a round, layered pleated shade that spreads the built-in LED into an even, glare-free glow. At 2.4 inches deep it sits close to the ceiling, so it works in rooms with low ceilings.

Choose cream, brown or green, and small (11.8 in), medium (15.7 in) or large (19.7 in). Pick warm, neutral or cool white light. It works in a bedroom, a living room or a kitchen.

Common Questions

Which size do I need?

Small (11.8 in) for a hallway or small bedroom, medium (15.7 in) for most bedrooms, large (19.7 in) for a living room or main bedroom.

Do I need bulbs?

No. The LED is built in.

What light color should I pick?

Warm white 3000K for a cozy bedroom, neutral 4500K for a kitchen, cool 6000K for task light.

Is it good for low ceilings?

Yes. It is only 2.4 inches deep.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box. A licensed electrician is recommended.

What if I don't like it?

Every order is covered by our 30-Day Returns policy.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
