Description

Bare bulbs over a table can glare. A linen drum shade softens the light so the whole room feels warm.

This shaded chandelier has sculpted brass accents in an antique tone around a crisp white linen drum shade. It uses E14 sockets, bulbs not included, and hangs on a 19.7 in chain.

Choose 3 lights, a tall lantern shape 9.4 in wide and 20.9 in high, or 4 lights, a wide drum 19.7 in wide and 23.6 in high.

Common Questions

Which size should I pick?

The 3 light is a tall, narrow lantern, 9.4 in wide, good for an entry, hallway or kitchen. The 4 light is a wide drum, 19.7 in across, for a dining table or living room.

What bulbs does it take?

E14 bulbs, not included.

How long is the chain?

Both sizes come with a 19.7 in hanging chain.

Is the shade fabric?

Yes. It is a white linen fabric drum that diffuses the light.

Which rooms does it suit?

It is made for dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms, anywhere you want soft light without glare.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
