Description

This flush mount light sets a white globe under a hand finished brass dome, a clean mid century shape that reads both vintage and modern. The body tilts, so you can aim the light where you need it.

Choose a smooth opal glass globe for even light, or natural alabaster for warm stone veining. Antique brass, black or satin nickel. It is 10 inches wide and 9.1 inches tall.

Common Questions

Glass or alabaster, which should I pick?

Opal glass is smooth and even. Alabaster is natural stone with visible veining, so each one is different.

How big is it?

About 10 inches wide and 9.1 inches tall, with a 4.7 inch canopy.

What bulb does it take?

A G9 bulb, sold separately. A warm LED looks best.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Yes in damp areas, but not in the shower.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box. A licensed electrician is recommended.

What if I don't like it?

Every order is covered by our 30-Day Returns policy.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.

You will get a tracking code by email once it leaves. We ship within the United States only at this time.
