Description

Clear glass globes can feel cold, and solid metal shades block most of the light.

This pendant light is a round glass globe with a metallic finish that fades from color at the top to clear at the bottom, so it glows warm when lit. The 5W LED is rated for 50,000 hours, runs on 90 to 260V and gives warm white light (3000K). Hang it from the ceiling on the 59 inch adjustable wire, or screw it to the wall with the included brackets. Hang one over a bedside or several over a kitchen island.

Six sizes from 5.9 to 15.7 inches across, in champagne, silver or rose gold.

Common Questions

How is it installed?

Hang it from the ceiling as a pendant, or screw it to the wall with the included brackets. If you are not sure how to connect it where you want it, have an electrician look at the spot first.

How low can it hang?

The wire is 59 inches (1.5 m) and adjusts, so you set the height when you install it. Over a kitchen island or dining table, most people hang the bottom of the globe about 30 to 36 inches above the surface.

Which size should I get?

The 5.9 to 7.9 in sizes suit bedsides and groups over an island. The 9.8 to 15.7 in sizes work as a single light over a dining table.

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. A 5W LED is built in. It gives warm white light, 3000K, and is rated for 50,000 hours.

Which finish should I pick?

Champagne is the warmest and suits brass and wood. Silver suits chrome, steel and gray rooms. Rose gold adds a soft pink tone. All three fade to clear glass at the bottom, and the finish is fade resistant.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
