Description

When you sit down at the table, a bare bulb shines in your eyes. This wood pendant light has an aluminum shade that points the light down onto your table, so you see the food and not the bulb.

The top is solid wood and the shade is aluminum. It comes in 6 colors and 3 sizes. The small is 7 inches wide, the medium is 10.6 inches and the large is 15.4 inches. The cord is 39 inches and adjusts, so you set the height.

Use the small size over a nightstand or in a row of three over a kitchen island. Use the medium or large on its own over a dining table. It takes a standard E26 bulb up to 40W, not included. It is hardwired to a ceiling box. If it arrives damaged, we replace it.

Common Questions

Will it look too small over my dining table?

The small is 7 inches wide, the medium is 10.6 inches and the large is 15.4 inches. For a dining table, pick the medium or large and hang it on its own. Save the small for a nightstand or a row of three over an island.

Can I install it myself, or do I need an electrician?

It is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box, and the ceiling plate, bracket and screws are included. If you have not wired a light fixture before, we recommend hiring an electrician.

Will the bulb glare in my eyes when I sit down?

The aluminum shade points the light down and hides the bulb from eye level when you are seated. It takes an E26 bulb up to 40W, not included. A warm white LED bulb keeps the light soft on the table.

Is it real wood, or will it look cheap in person?

The top is solid wood and the shade is aluminum. If it does not look right in your room, you can return it within 30 days.

What if it arrives damaged?

If your pendant arrives damaged, contact us and we will replace it.

Will the color match the photos?

It comes in white, black, pink, gray, green and rose gold. Screens show color differently, so it can look a little lighter or darker in your room. If the color is not right, you can return it within 30 days.

How high will it hang, and is the cord long enough?

The cord is 39 inches and adjusts. Over a dining table or island, most people hang the bottom of the shade about 30 to 36 inches above the surface.

Will I get my money back if it does not work in my space?

Yes. You can return it within 30 days for a refund. For change-of-mind returns, you pay the return shipping.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
