Description

A large blank wall in a living room or lounge is hard to fill with a lamp or a small sconce.

This wall light has a square DuPont paper body that glows when it is lit, with metal fittings and four E26 sockets. Bulbs are sold separately. It plugs in with a 59 inch cord, so no hardwiring is needed. Some assembly is required.

Three sizes, 23.6, 31.5 or 39.4 inches square, in white.

Common Questions

Does it need wiring?

No. It plugs into a wall outlet with a 59 inch cord. Measure from your outlet to where you want the light before you order.

Are bulbs included?

No. It holds four standard E26 bulbs, sold separately. Use four bulbs of the same color temperature so the paper glows evenly.

Which size should I pick?

All three are square. 23.6 in suits a bedroom or study wall, 31.5 in a living room wall, and 39.4 in a large wall or a room with high ceilings.

Does it come assembled?

It needs some assembly. The DuPont paper body fits onto the metal fittings before you hang it on the wall.

What kind of room does it suit?

It fits Japandi and Scandinavian rooms. Use it in a bedroom, study, office or living room where you want a large soft glow on a plain wall.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
