Common Questions

Do I need to buy a bulb?

No. The 6W LED is built in and gives warm 3000K light.

Is the crane made of paper?

No. It is PP, a light and durable material shaped to look like folded paper. It holds its shape and wipes clean with a dry cloth.

How much wall space does it need?

It is 11 in wide, 11 in deep and 26.4 in tall, and weighs about 4 lb. Plan for a little over 2 feet of clear wall height.

How bright is it?

It is a 6W warm light with a soft glow. It works as a decorative accent, not as the main light in a room.

Where does it work best?

Indoors on a living room, hallway or bedroom wall where you want something people notice. It is for indoor use only.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
