Description

A tall wall light beside a bed or mirror normally needs wiring run inside the wall.

This cordless sconce is a slim vertical light in black metal with a white acrylic diffuser. It sits on a magnetic mount, so you lift it off to charge by USB and set it back. A full charge lasts up to 4 hours. Dim it by remote or touch, set the timer, and pick warm, neutral or cool light.

Three heights: 23.6, 35.4 or 47.2 inches. The taller the light, the brighter it is. Use it beside a bed, a vanity mirror or along a hallway.

Common Questions

Do I need wiring or an electrician?

No. Mount it with screws or adhesive and it runs on a built-in battery. Nothing goes inside the wall.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 4 hours on a full charge. The timer switches it off on its own, so a charge lasts more evenings.

How do I charge it?

The light sits on a magnetic mount. Lift it off, charge it with the USB cable from a wall adapter, laptop or power bank, and set it back. The mount stays on the wall.

Which height should I get?

The 23.6 inch gives about 880 lumens and suits a bedside. The 35.4 inch gives about 1100 lumens. The 47.2 inch gives about 1540 lumens and suits a tall mirror or hallway.

Is there a remote?

Yes. Use the remote or the touch control to dim it, switch between warm, neutral and cool light, and set the timer.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
