Description

Stairs and hallways are dark at night, and running wiring for a wall light is a job most people put off.

This LED motion sensor light turns on when you walk within 2 to 3 meters and goes off after you pass. It sticks to the wall or screws in, and the lamp is magnetic, so it lifts off its mount to charge with the USB cable. A red light shows while charging and green when full.

Choose black or white. Each one is 4 x 2 x 6 inches with a warm white 3000K LED in an aluminum body.

Common Questions

How does the motion sensor work?

It turns on when it picks up movement within about 2 to 3 meters, then turns off after you pass. You never need to find a switch in the dark.

Do I need an outlet or an electrician?

No. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, so it works on any wall, including stairs and hallways with no outlet nearby.

How do I mount it?

Stick the mount to the wall or screw it in if you prefer it fixed. The lamp holds onto the mount with a magnet, so it lifts straight off when you need to charge it.

How do I charge it?

Lift the lamp off its magnetic mount and plug in the included 1 meter USB cable. The light shows red while charging and green when full.

How bright is it?

It is a 1W warm white 3000K LED. It is made to light your way on stairs or down a hallway at night, not to light a whole room.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
