Description

This marble wall sconce sets a frosted glass globe against a round backplate of natural red marble. The globe throws a soft glow across the stone, so the veining shows at night.

It is about 7.9 inches round and sticks out 5.1 inches, small enough for a narrow hallway or beside a bed, and rated for bathroom use outside the shower spray.

Common Questions

Is the marble real?

Yes. It is natural red marble, so color and veining vary from piece to piece.

Can I use it in a bathroom?

Yes. Mount it outside the direct shower spray.

What bulb does it take?

One G9 bulb, sold separately. An LED keeps the stone cool.

How big is it?

About 7.9 inches round and 5.1 inches deep. It weighs about 5.6 lbs.

How is it installed?

It is hardwired to a standard wall junction box. A licensed electrician is recommended.

What if I don't like it?

Every order is covered by our 30-Day Returns policy.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
