Description

A bedside lamp takes up the nightstand, and the overhead light is too much when you only want to read.

This wall sconce lamp mounts to the wall and plugs into a standard outlet, so there is no hardwiring and no electrician. The metal head swivels 360 degrees. Aim it at a book, turn it toward the wall for a soft glow, or point it at a piece of art. The on and off switch sits on the 70.8 inch cord, within reach from bed.

Choose orange, black or cherry red. It is 9.8 inches wide and tall and takes one E26 bulb. Screws and anchors are included.

✓ Plug in, no hardwiring
✓ 360 degree swivel head
✓ Switch on the 70.8 in cord
✓ E26 socket, dimmer compatible (dimmer sold separately)
✓ Damp rated for bathrooms and covered porches
✓ 30-day money-back guarantee

Common Questions

Does it plug into a normal US outlet?

Yes. It has a US plug on a 70.8 inch cord, so mount it within about 6 feet of an outlet. No hardwiring and no electrician.

Where is the on and off switch?

On the cord, not on the lamp. Let the cord hang beside the bed and the switch is easy to reach at night.

How do I mount it?

Screw the hanging board to the wall with the included screws and anchors. Slide the lamp onto the board from the side until it sits firm, then plug it in. You need a drill for the anchors.

What bulb does it take?

One E26 bulb. A 5W LED, about 40W equivalent, is the recommended size. Warm white suits a bedroom.

Can I dim it?

It has no dimmer built in, but it is dimmer compatible. Plug it into a plug-in dimmer, sold separately, and use a dimmable bulb.

What if it's not right?

You have 30 days. If it's not right, send it back and we'll refund you. If anything arrives damaged, we replace it.

How bright will this be, and how do I compare it to others?

Brightness is measured in lumens, not watts, so a low wattage LED can easily outshine an older bulb that draws far more power. The figures for this fixture are listed in the Details & Specifications dropdown above.

As a guide, accent and bedside lights are designed to shape a mood rather than flood a room, while ceiling, wall and post lights run brighter because they cover a wider area.

Do I need an electrician to install this?

It depends on how the fixture is powered. Solar, rechargeable and plug in fixtures need no wiring, and most people fit them themselves with basic tools.

Hardwired fixtures connect to your mains supply, and we recommend a qualified electrician for those. The Power Supply row in Details & Specifications tells you which one you are looking at.

What will the light actually look like?

That comes down to color temperature, listed per product in Details & Specifications. Warm white around 3000K is a soft, slightly yellow light that suits homes and gardens.

Higher numbers look cooler and more blue white. That reads as brighter, but it is far less inviting in a living space.
